Argh

*Fight with rental car company over the amount they charged us when we were out there in January, and the fact that they didn't run the card until March 3rd. Finally convinced them to retract the charge from my credit card and send me a paper bill in the mail for the correct amount. This was my entire morning, but it worked. Thank goodness for having all the documentation on hand! Also convinced my credit card company to retract the overdraft fee as soon as the payment is retracted. I am now wiped.

*Spent the better part of the past two days sorting out a power supply problem on myainsel's computer--Short version is it got fried in a power surge. All better now, thanks to expert advice from Erik T. Also, Lea now knows how to install a power supply. Which is good.

*No word on new job at work, and I'm off today, which means I'll probably find out one way or the other Friday, or next week at the latest. I am no longer capable of guessing how close or far away I am from getting the job.

*Where Your Mouth Is is tonight, and I will be there. Don't know what I will do. Maybe I'll just bring a phone and shout at people mis-billing me. It seems I'm good at that. *As I said the other day, if anyone tells me Mercury is in retrograde, they will be punched. I don't want to know.

Sleep when you're dead! Whether it's emotionally or physically, you're exhausted. Have you considered sleeping pills? I took them when I had mono, and they made everything better.
