Busy, busy, busy

Have acquired a U-Haul. Will be using said U-Haul to take our old couch to Goodwill. Will then be driving to the Boston area to have dinner with vwbug and to grab her old couch. Then getting it back and somehow getting it up the stairs. Woo-hoo!

I've been so lost in my own head lately that I've neglected to share any interesting local news. First off, Worcester Magazine got itself into a stir when local activists applied stickers to 2,000 to covers of last week's edition, changing the headline "What neighborhoods face when drugstores sell needles like cigarettes" to "Less HIV infections is What neighborhoods face when drugstores sell needles like cigarettes."

Heh. WoMag's dealing with it well, even if their editorial response is sort of wimpy. Hopefully, this will teach them a lesson about how conventional and inside the box their news perspective is. But I doubt it.

Also, there seems to be a capybara loose in the local town of Lunenburg. I'm certain that will be of great interest to certain people out there.

Couch update

We have obtained couch. Also, rope burn. But that's another story.

Also, still figuring out how to get the couch up the stairs.

But still ... COUCH!
