Political Quote of the week
Nov. 7th, 2005 05:43 pmWe really find these on a Monday, but Wonkette serves up the sass on the N.J. and Virginia gubernatorial races:
"Both races share a few things in common: weak candidates, perceived fallout from Bush’s unpopularity and a resigned sense of impending mediocrity no matter who wins."
ETA: Special runner-up: Wonkette on Judith Miller's demands for Op-Ed space in The New York Times to rebut her critics:
"It's unclear whether she's demanding to have the op-ed space or else she'll leave, or demanding it or else she'll stay. Obviously, the latter is the more potent threat, but we wonder why the Times is reluctant. It's not like they're very picky about who appears on their op-ed page to begin with. (Of course, the Unibomber wrote about real bombs.)"
